My name is Mathieu Hikaru Desan and I'm an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado Boulder. I'm currently working on a book project on the political transformation of French "neo-socialists" into fascists during the interwar period and World War II. My other interests include social theory, the history of sociology, and urban sociology. I've published on these topics in Comparative Studies in Society and History, Sociological Theory, History of the Human Sciences, and Thesis Eleven.
